The Central Piedmont
Group of the Sierra Club issues endorsements for
local and statewide candidates, and partners with
the National Sierra Club Political Committee in
making endorsements at the federal level. Our
volunteer Political Committee learns about the
candidates' environmental positions through such
sources as questionnaires, interviews, candidate
forums and past records.
We encourage all Sierra Club members to be civically
engaged and to let your elected officials know about
the issues of concern to you. For more information

The NC Chapter of the Sierra Club has been
advocating on behalf of Sierra Club issues at the NC
General Assembly for nearly 30 years. Click here for
