Bliss and
Boas Abound at
Holiday Bash!
The Charlotte
Chapter of the
Sierra Club held its
annual holiday
party Saturday
night, December
2, at Green Rice
Gallery in NoDa.
Over 50 people
gathered for
food, fun and
frivolity amidst
the artistic
decor of the
gallery and the
rock and roll
sounds from
local band 'The
Relics.'
The main purpose
of the evening's
event was one of
thanksgiving for
the hard work of
Christa Wagner,
Sierra Club's
local
Conservation
Organizer, a
familiar face to
volunteers,
local
politicians and
many
environmental
leaders in
Charlotte.
Christa has
accepted a new
position as
lobbyist in
Raleigh
representing the
National Sierra
Club.
Thanks to
Christa Wagner
for three years
of service among
us.
Best wishes for
your continued
success in
Raleigh!
